NASA Kids’ Club is an excellent learning website for kids. Easy to navigate. It teaches kids about mathematics and space. It is full of fun activities, information and images. Features include:
• Now in Space—where you can learn more about the crew on the International Space Station.
• The Clubhouse—where you can play games.
• Pictures—a gallery of NASA images of astronauts, scientific instruments and space.
The Clubhouse has a number of activities:
• Astro-matic 3000, which translates age and weight on Earth to age and weight on other planets and moons.
• Let’s Fly Away, introduces NASA aircraft. It provides instructions for building space aircraft.
• Other activities include Put It Together, Colour NASA, Space Lunch, Elmo Visits NASA, Mars FunZone, and Buzz Lightyear Returns From Space.
The games are well-designed and presented at varied levels. Great links are available to resources for parents and teachers.
